Alibaba Cloud allows you to view and manage quotas of your Alibaba Cloud services. You can obtain usage information and apply for increases on Smart Access Gateway (SAG) quotas. This topic describes the prerequisites and procedures for managing service quotas.
View quotas
You can view the quotas of SAG by using one of the following methods:
- View the quotas and their default values in the Quotas topic.
- Log on to the SAG console. On the Quotas page, set query conditions as prompted. The quota items and the usage of each item are displayed.
Procedure (SAG console)
- Log on to the SAG console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Quotas.
- On the Quotas page, view the name, description, and value of each quota item.
Adjust quotas
Most of the quotas provided are adjustable. If the default quota is unable to meet your business requirements, you can apply for a quota increase in the SAG console.
- Log on to the SAG console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Quotas.
- On the Quotas page, find the quota item that you want to adjust and click Submit Application in the Actions column.
- In the Apply dialog box, set the following parameters and click OK.
Parameter Description Requested Value Enter the value to which you want to increase the quota. Reason Enter a detailed reason why you want to increase the quota. Mobile/Landline Phone Number Enter your mobile or landline phone number. Email Enter your email address. Alibaba Cloud reviews your application based on the information provided in the application.Note- Applications are reviewed by the technical support team of each cloud service. To increase the success rate of your application, you must specify a reasonable quota value and a detailed reason when you submit an application.
- Application results are sent to you by text messages and emails.
- Find the quota and click History in the Actions column to view the status of the application. If an application is in the Approved state, the quota is increased.
