View, update, and delete stack groups in the ROS console.

View a stack group

View a stack group's basic information, permissions, instances, and template.

  1. Log on to the ROS console.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Stack Groups.

  3. From the region drop-down list in the top navigation bar, select the stack group's region.

  4. On the Stack Groups page, click the name of the stack group.

    • Click the Details tab to view the Basic information, Permissions, and Deployment Configurations sections.

      Note

      The Deployment Configurations section appears only for stack groups with service-managed permissions.

    • Click the Instance tab to view stack instances across accounts.

    • Click the Actions tab to view the stack group's operation history. Click an operation ID to view the status for a specific account and region.

    • Click the Parameter tab to view the template parameters specified at stack group creation, including ROS pseudo parameters prefixed with ALIYUN::.

    • Click the Templates tab to view the stack group's template.

Update a stack group

Update a stack group's template, parameters, permission type, and deployment targets to modify stack instances.

  1. In the navigation pane on the left, click Stack Groups.

  2. On the Stack Groups page, find the stack group that you want to update and click Update in the Actions column.

  3. On the Select Template page, choose whether to update the template, and then click Next.

    • Use Existing Template: Does not update the template.

    • Replace Current Template: Enter the updated template.

  4. On the Configure Parameters page, update the Stack Group Description and parameters, and then click Next.

  5. On the Configure Stack Group page, select Self-managed Permissions or Service-managed Permissions as needed, and then click Next.

    Note

    If stack instances already exist in the stack group, you cannot change the permission type.

  6. On the Set Deployment Options page, update the parameters, and then click Next.

    Update parameters based on the permission type:

    • Self-managed Permissions: Update the Accounts, Region, Resource Group, Tags, Maximum Number of Concurrent Accounts, Fault Tolerance, Region Concurrency, and Expand modules in current account.

    • Service-managed Permissions: Update the Resource Directories, Automatic Deployment, Account Removal Behavior, Region, Resource Group, Tags, Maximum Number of Concurrent Accounts, Fault Tolerance, Region Concurrency, and Expand modules in current account.

  7. On the Check and Confirm page, verify the stack group information and then click Modify.

Delete a stack group

Before you delete a stack group, you must delete all stack instances. Delete stack instances from a stack group.

  1. In the navigation pane on the left, click Stack Groups.

  2. On the Stack Groups page, find the stack group that you want to delete and click Remove in the Actions column.

  3. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
