Last Updated:Nov 13, 2025

This topic describes how to delete an infrastructure template and its stacks.

Prerequisites

An infrastructure template is created. For more information, see Create an infrastructure template.

Delete the stacks created from an infrastructure template

  1. Go to the ROS Infrastructure Composer module in the ROS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Infrastructure Templates.

  3. On the Infrastructure Templates page, find the desired infrastructure template and click the card.

  1. On the architecture template editor page, click Stack in the upper-right corner.

  2. The Deployment page is displayed by default. Click a Stack ID to open the stack details page.

  3. On the stack details page, click Delete in the upper-right corner. In the confirmation message that appears, click OK.

  4. Return to the Deployment page. In the upper-left corner, click Resource Name and select another stack from the drop-down list. Repeat Steps 5 and 6 until all stacks are deleted.

Note

An infrastructure template and its stacks are loosely coupled. Deleting an infrastructure template does not delete its stacks.

  1. Log on to the ROS Infrastructure Composer console.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Infrastructure Templates.

  3. On the Infrastructure Templates page, find the template that you want to delete, move the pointer over the image.png icon, and then click Delete from the drop-down list.

  4. In the confirmation message, click OK.
