Resource Orchestration Service (ROS) provides infrastructure templates that you can use to compose the resource architectures of your infrastructure on a visual canvas, configure resource properties on forms, and then perform price inquiries and automated deployment for the resources in the architectures. The following table describes the operations related to infrastructure templates.
Operation | Description |
When you create an infrastructure template, you can compose a desired resource architecture and perform price inquiries and automated deployment for the resources in the architecture.
In addition to drag-and-drop operations, you can describe your requirements in a natural language by using AI Architect to generate an infrastructure template in ROS Infrastructure Composer.
You can view created infrastructure templates on the Infrastructure Templates page. You can also click the card of an infrastructure template to view the resource architecture diagram and the automatically generated ROS and Terraform templates.
When you use an infrastructure template to deploy a stack, you can view the deployment status and events of resources in real time based on the resource architecture.
Manage the parameters and outputs of an infrastructure template | The parameters and outputs of an infrastructure template provide the same features as the parameters and outputs of its automatically generated ROS and Terraform templates. ROS Infrastructure Composer is embedded with forms on which you can manage the parameters and outputs of an infrastructure template. |
You can import an existing ROS template as an infrastructure template that contains a resource architecture diagram for further configurations.
You can delete an infrastructure template and its associated stacks based on your business requirements. |
