Considerations

Migrating to a different RDS for PostgreSQL version may cause compatibility issues. Test your application on the destination instance before you proceed. Proceed with the data migration only after you confirm that no issues exist.

Classic-network ECS instances will be discontinued on February 28, 2025 (the announcement). If your self-managed database runs on a classic-network ECS instance, Migrate an ECS instance from the classic network to a VPC before you begin.
