The Resource Management module provides data source management and dataset management capabilities in Quick Tracking.
This document is an introduction to Quick Tracking and technical integration and is not used as a sales basis. For specific products and technical services purchased by an enterprise, the commercial purchase contract shall prevail.
The Resource Management module provides two features: data source management and dataset management.
Data source management
Overview
You can create an audience by using one of the following methods. An audience can serve as the subject of insight analysis or as a condition for creating other audiences.
Add data sources
In the upper-right corner of the Data Source page, click 「Add Data Source」.

Add the required information for a data source connection

Database Name: A custom name for the data source. Maximum 500 characters.

Database Type: Select a database type from the drop-down list. MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL are supported.

IP: The IP address of the database. Optional.

Port: The port number of the database. Optional.

Path: jdbc:mysql://rm-bpxxxxxxx.mysql.rds.aliyuncs.com:3306/test_db

Username: The username used to log on to the database.

Password: The password used to log on to the database.

Database Name: The name of the target database.

Note: The IP addresses in the allow list are examples. You can add IP addresses based on the current environment.

Click 「Link Test」. If the test is successful, click 「Save」.

After you save the data source, you can view all tables in the database.

Click 「View」 to view the field information of a table.

Manage datasets
Overview
The Datasets page displays all configured datasets.
You can also delete datasets from this page.

Configuration methods
You can use the following methods to create a dataset:
Data Source Import: Import fields from an existing data source into a data table. After the import, you can use tags, behaviors, and attributes to calculate the intersection and difference of existing audiences to create an audience.
Import local files: Upload an existing tag table as a local file. The uploaded tags are matched with existing data, and the matched tags are written to the tag table for subsequent analysis and audience selection.

Data source import
Import fields from an existing data source. After the import, you can use tags, behaviors, attributes, and existing groups to calculate the intersection and difference to create audiences.
Click 「Data Source Import」 to go to the configuration page.

Select a data source: Select a database that has been added to the data source list.

Select Data Table: Select a table from the drop-down list.

Select a unique field: The field used to map with the ID in the QT system.

Select an ID field type: The ID type affects how audiences and tags are matched. Select an ID type based on your business requirements.

Click to view match details.

Import local files
Upload an existing tag file from your local machine. The uploaded tags are matched with existing tags, and a tag table is generated from the matches for subsequent analysis and audience selection.

After you click the Import tab, the dataset status changes to "Updating".
