This topic lists frequently asked questions about subscription tasks.
1. Are email subscriptions only for Alibaba Cloud accounts?
Yes. Email subscriptions can only be sent to Alibaba Cloud accounts within the same organization.
2. Can I schedule regular emails to send workbooks to a mailbox?
Premium Edition and Professional Edition support the email subscription feature. For more information, see Create a Subscription Task.
3. Can I send reports as attachments in a subscription?
Yes. You can send data as attachments if the delivery method is email, the report allows attachment downloads, and the user has export permissions for the dashboard or workbook.
4. Is there a limit on the number of reports I can send through scheduled emails?
No, there is no limit.
5. Why are there no logs after I click Send Manually?
After you click Send Manually, the scheduling task is triggered after a delay of 3 to 5 seconds. Check the logs after this delay.
6. The scheduling status for my email subscription shows that the sending epoch is set, but I have not received the email. Why?
The scheduling status indicates whether the sending task will be executed during the epoch. If the status is "Not Scheduled", no email is sent during the epoch.
When a task is scheduled, emails are sent at the configured time. The email delivery can either succeed or fail.
7. The email subscription failed, and the log shows the message "has no valid receiver".
This error indicates that the recipient has not attached a mailbox. The recipient must log on to the Quick BI console and attach a mailbox in Personal Settings.
8. How can I view subscription tasks created by other users?
Only organization administrators can view subscription tasks created by other accounts.
To view tasks created by another user, an organization administrator can filter by owner in the upper-right corner of the Subscription Tasks page.
9. Why can't I select other users as recipients for a subscription task?
Only users with edit permissions for the report can send subscription tasks to other users.
Users with only view permissions for the report can only send subscriptions to themselves.
10. I cannot receive subscription notifications in DingTalk.
To receive subscription information pushed to DingTalk, the recipient must enable the DingTalk mini program and attach their DingTalk account to their Quick BI account.
You must first enable the DingTalk mini program and grant authorization to use this feature. If you are not sure whether the mini program has been enabled, you can check for the mini program entry in the DingTalk mobile client.
If the mini program is enabled but you still do not receive subscription information, check if your Quick BI account is attached to a DingTalk account. Perform the following steps:
Go to the Quick BI console.
Hover over your profile picture in the upper-right corner and click Account Settings.
Go to the Account Attachment page to view your account attachment status.
11. Why is the data not fully loaded in the subscription screenshot?
In a subscription task, if the subscribed dashboard contains an iframe that embeds a Quick BI workbook or another dashboard, the system takes a screenshot after the data is fully loaded. This feature is available in Public Cloud V6.0.1 and later.
Other embedded pages are not supported.
