You can manage tags and tag groups in a tag library and view the usage of tags.

Choose Workspace> Content Marketing > Tag Hub > Tag Library to go to the tag management page, as shown in the following figure.

The total number of tags, the number of used tags, and the number of unused tags in the current group are displayed above the list. Click the corresponding text, and the list will display only the tags in the used state.

In addition to the basic information about the tag, the list also displays the number of overrides for the tag.

Create tags

  1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Workspace> Content Marketing > Tag Hub > Tag Library. On the Tag Library page, click Create Tag in the upper-right corner.

  2. In the dialog box that appears, enter a tag name and description, select a group, and set an alternative tag value.

    Select whether the tag is required for receipt. If the tag is required for receipt, the tag is displayed as a required configuration items by default in the Import content.

  3. Click Save.

View the details of a tag

Click Details in the Actions column of a tag to go to the details page, as shown in the following figure.

Edit Tags

Click Edit in the Actions column corresponding to a tag to go to the edit page, as shown in the following figure. The operations are the same as those performed when you create a tag. For more information, see Create A Tag. image

Tag groups

You can manage tags by group. The group directory is displayed on the left side of the page. Click the group name to display only the tags in the group, as shown in the following figure. image

  • Tags that are not grouped are included in "Ungrouped".

  • A maximum of three levels of groups are supported. You can click the arrow icon in front of a group name to expand or collapse child groups.

  • The search box above the group list allows you to search for group names.

Add or move a group

To add a maximum of three levels of groups, perform the following steps:

  1. If you move the pointer over any group or "All Tags", the plus sign 加appears, as shown in the following figure. Click the plus icon. image

  2. In the dialog box that appears, select whether the new group is a sibling or a child of the original group and enter a name for the new group.

    In this example, a sibling group of "Content Test", "Document Test", is created.

  3. Click OK. The new group will be added to the directory.

  4. Drag the group to the required position to change the order and level of grouping.

Rename a group

Note

Ungrouped does not support renaming.

Procedure

  1. Move the pointer over the custom group. An ellipsis 324appears, as shown in the following figure. Click the ellipsis icon. The Rename button appears. Click Rename.

  2. In the dialog box that appears, enter a new group name and click OK. image

Delete a group

Note
  • You cannot delete "Ungrouped".

  • If the group contains tags or sub group, you cannot delete them. We recommend that you move the included labels or sub group out of the group first.

Procedure

  1. Move the pointer over the custom group. An ellipsis 324appears, as shown in the following figure. Click the ellipsis icon. The Delete button appears. Click Delete.

  2. If the group does not contain tags or sub group, the group will be deleted directly.

    If a group contains tags or sub group, it cannot be deleted. image

Delete tags

  1. Two deletion methods are supported:

    • To delete a tag, click Delete.

    • Batch Delete: Select multiple tags. You can select all tags and click Batch Delete below the tag list.

  2. In the dialog box that appears, click OK. image

    After a tag is deleted, it cannot be restored. Content that has used the tag is no longer associated with the tag.
