Quick Audience:Behavior Filtering

Last Updated:May 22, 2025

The behavior filter feature is used to filter audience whose behavior or order records meet the requirements based on the data in the User Behavior and Order Details tables.

Note

If the event storage feature is enabled for an event in the Event Hub, the reported user behavior data and order details can also be used for behavior filtering.

Procedure

  1. Choose Workspace> User Insight > Audience Insight > Audience Filter to go to the Audience Filter page. image

  2. Click Behavior Filter in the left-side navigation pane, or drag Behavior Filter to the right-side navigation pane. A behavior filter card is added to the right-side navigation pane.

  3. Set behavior filtering conditions.

    • Set user behavior.

      • If filtering is based on user behavior: As shown in the following figure, select a specific behavior type under the interaction behavior category. If the selected behavior has multiple data sources, you need to select a source table. If the selected behavior has only one data source, you do not need to manually select a source table. Select a behavior channel. You can select All or select Select All to select all search results. image

      • If you filter based on order details: As shown in the following figure, select a specific behavior type under the order behavior category. If the selected behavior has multiple data sources, you need to select a source table. If the selected behavior has only one data source, you do not need to manually select a source table. image

    • The behavior time. You can use multiple methods to set the behavior time. For more information, see Time-based.

When you filter data based on order details, a table may contain multiple time fields. Therefore, you must select an order time field before you set the behavior time.

      Note

If the value is set to a non-specific time, when you update an audience, the audience is refreshed based on the update time and the audience is filtered based on the new time. If the value is set to a specific time, the updated results remain unchanged unless the behavior record itself changes.

    • Click + Behavior Attributes and + Statistical Metrics to set the requirements for behavior attributes and statistical metrics. If you select Exact Match, you can enter any value to match. You can specify a maximum of five behavioral attributes and two statistical metrics. Multiple requirements must be met at the same time.

  4. After you set the behavior filter conditions, enter the name and description of the group, select the directory where the group is saved, and the associated sub-activities. For more information, see Marketing Campaign Documentation. Click Estimate to estimate the number of people. Click Generate Audience to save the result. image
