Back up a PolarDB cluster on demand to capture data at a specific point in time, such as before a major release or configuration change.
Create a manual backup
Log on to the PolarDB console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters.
In the upper-left corner, select the region where the cluster is deployed.
Find the cluster and click its ID.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Settings and Management > Backup and Restoration.
On the Data Backups tab, click Create Backup.
In the Create Backup message, click OK.
Warning
Each cluster supports a maximum of three manual backups. Manual backups can be deleted, but a deleted backup cannot be restored. Delete backups with caution.
