This topic describes the reasons why bills are still generated after a PolarDB cluster is released or unsubscribed from and the solutions to these issues.
If bills are still generated after you release or unsubscribe from a PolarDB cluster, it may be caused by the following reasons:
The PolarDB cluster has pay-as-you-go billable items, bills for these items are generated in a delayed manner. Therefore, bills are still generated after the PolarDB cluster is released or unsubscribed from.
Subscription clusters have pay-as-you-go billable items whose bills are generated in a delayed manner. For example, storage space is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis.
The bills of pay-as-you-go clusters are generated in a delayed manner.
NoteYou can view the pay-as-you-go bills of the cluster in the PolarDB console. For more information, see View bills.
The PolarDB cluster that has been released or unsubscribed from is retained in the cluster recycle bin as a secondary backup set. This incurs fees. You can permanently delete the cluster that has been released or unsubscribed from in the console to terminate billing. For more information, see Delete a released cluster.
