FAQ

Why can't I find a specific file when searching, even though I'm sure it exists?

If your search for a specific file returns no results, there are a few common causes. Here is what to check:

  1. Confirm the file exists. First, verify that the file has not been deleted or moved to a different location.

  2. Check if the file is quarantined. A file might be automatically quarantined and made unsearchable if the system detects that it contains sensitive terms, illegal content, or a virus.

  3. Verify your permissions. You will not be able to find a file if you do not have permission to view it. Search results only include files you are authorized to access. Contact an administrator to Permissions.
