CloudOps Orchestration Service:Create an application group to manage resources

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Elastic Compute Service (ECS) console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Applications. On the Applications page, click Create Application.image.png

  2. On the Create Application page, set the Application Name and Description parameters. Select a resource group based on your business requirements and click Create.

  3. Click the application name to go to the details page of the application. On the details page of the application, click the Add Group icon. In the Add Group dialog box, set the Region and Group Name parameters.image

  4. Select and import existing resources.

    1. Select resources from the drop-down list and import the selected resources.

    2. Enter one or more resource IDs and import the resources.

    3. Select resources based on tags and import the resources.

    4. Select a resource group to import resources.

  5. Create resources based on scenarios and import the created resources.

    1. Select ECS Application and click Next. For more information about how to create and import DingTalk applications, see Import resources by creating DingTalk applications.image

    2. Configure scenario parameters by following the on-screen instructions. After you configure the parameters, the estimated costs are displayed in the lower-right corner. Click Cost Details to view the details of the estimated costs. Click Next.

    3. Verify that the parameters are correct and click OK to create an application group.

    4. After the application group is created, view the deployment details on the Overview tab of the application group.

    5. After the deployment is complete, view the resources imported to the application group on the Resources tab of the application group.
