CloudOps Orchestration Service:Periodic bandwidth upgrade

Unlike the Temporary Bandwidth Upgrade feature in Common O&M Tasks, Quick Setup lets you configure and manage identical periodic bandwidth upgrades across all your regions at once, without individual regional configurations. This ensures consistency and reduces repetitive operations. For more information, see Temporarily upgrade the bandwidth at a scheduled time.

Procedure

To create a periodic bandwidth upgrade task in the CloudOps Orchestration Service (OOS) console:

1. Log on to the OOS console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Quick Setup.

3. On the Configuration Library tab, find the Periodic Bandwidth Upgrade card and click Create.

4. In the Cross account configurationsection, select Current Accountor Across Accounts (Resource Directory).

   • Current Account: The default option. Specifies resources within the current account.

   • Across Accounts (Resource Directory): Specifies resources in multiple accounts. Before you select this option, make sure that resource directories are enabled and the settings are completed as an administrator or delegated administrator. When you enable trusted access, set ROS as the trusted service. For more information, see Manage a delegated administrator account.

5. In the Configure Parameters section, specify an execution schedule.

   Set the TimerTrigger parameter to one of the following values: Execute Now to run the task immediately after creation, Executed Once at the Specified Time to run it once at a specific time, or Executed Periodically to run it on a recurring schedule such as once an hour. Then specify the maximum outbound public bandwidth and the upgrade duration.

6. In the Select Instances section, specify the regions, resource type, and instances to which the periodic bandwidth upgrade task applies.

   You can specify the current region or multiple regions.

   • Specify one or more regions by setting the SelectRegion parameter to one of the following values:

     • Deploy in Current Region: applies the task to the region selected in the top navigation bar of the OOS console.

     • Deploy in Another Region: applies the task to the one or more regions that you select.

   • Specify one or more instances by using one of the following methods:

     • If you set the SelectRegion parameter to Deploy in Current Region, you can set the Select Role parameter to Manually Select Instances, Specify Instance Tags, Specify Resource Group, or Select All and select one or more nodes.

     • If you set the SelectRegion parameter to Deploy in Another Region, you can set the Select Role parameter to Specify Instance Tags or Select All and select one or more nodes.

6. Click Create.

   After the periodic bandwidth upgrade task is created, you can view the task details on the Quick Setup page.
