How your resource plan is deducted depends on its type.

The following table describes the deduction method for each type of resource plan. A resource plan whose capacity is 100 GB and validity period is 3 months is used in this example.

Deduction method Resource plan Description
Deduct from an hourly quota Storage plan for Standard locally redundant storage (LRS) The 100 GB quota is replenished each hour within the 3-month validity period. If the storage usage exceeds 100 GB within an hour, you are charged for the excess storage usage on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Deduct from a monthly quota Outbound traffic plan The 100 GB quota is replenished each month within the 3-month validity period. The portion of the quota that is not consumed at the end of each month is cleared. If the outbound traffic exceeds 100 GB within a month, you are charged for the excess traffic on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Deduct from a total quota Transfer acceleration plan The 100 GB quota is not replenished within the 3-month validity period. If the transfer acceleration traffic exceeds 100 GB within the validity period, you are charged for the excess traffic on a pay-as-you-go basis.
