Tags are used to identify cloud resources. You can use tags to categorize, search for, and aggregate cloud resources that have the same characteristics. Tags help improve resource management efficiency. This topic describes how to edit and use tags.
Usage notes
Product tags, device tags, and group tags are in the format of tag key: tag value.
ImportantTags that start with ACS are reserved for the system. Do not use ACS as the tag key for this type of tag.
You can add a maximum of 20 tags for each instance.
Microservices Registry, Cloud-native Gateway, and Microservices Governance provided by Microservices Engine (MSE) support tags.
Microservices Registry
Edit a tag
Log on to the MSE console, and select a region in the top navigation bar.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Microservices Registry > Instances.
In the Label column of the instance, move the pointer over the
icon, and click Edit in the tooltip that appears.
In the Configure Tags dialog box, add, delete, or modify tags.
Add or modify a tag: Specify Tag Key and Tag Value, and click OK.
Delete a tag: Click the
icon on the right side of the tag, and click OK.
Use tag filtering
Log on to the MSE console, and select a region in the top navigation bar.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Microservices Registry > Instances.
In the upper-left corner of the Instances page, click Filter by Tag, and select a tag key and a tag value. You can also enter a tag key in the search box to obtain the instances that use this tag.
Cloud-native Gateway
Edit a tag
Log on to the MSE console, and select a region in the top navigation bar.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud-native Gateway > Gateways.
In the Label column of the gateway, move the pointer over the
icon, and click Edit in the tooltip that appears.
In the Configure Tags dialog box, add, delete, or modify tags.
Add or modify a tag: Specify Tag Key and Tag Value, and click OK.
Delete a tag: Click the
icon on the right side of the tag, and click OK.

Log on to the MSE console, and select a region in the top navigation bar.

Edit a tag
Log on to the MSE console, and select a region in the top navigation bar.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Application list page, select a namespace, move the pointer over
on the card of your application, and then click Edit in the tooltip that appears.
In the Configure Tags dialog box, add, delete, or modify tags.
Add or modify a tag: Specify Tag Key and Tag Value, and click OK.
Delete a tag: Click the
icon on the right side of the tag, and click OK.
