Microservices Engine:Notification contacts

Notification contacts and notification contact groups are used to send notifications in SchedulerX 2.0. This topic describes how to create notification contacts and notification contact groups.

Create a notification contact

Note

A notification contact can be added to multiple notification contact groups.

  1. Log on to the MSE SchedulerX console.

  2. In the top menu bar, select a region.

  3. In the navigation pane on the left, click Notification Manage.

  4. On the contacts tab, click new contact. On the New contact page, enter the basic information for the contact.

    Configuration Item

    Description

    Name

    The name of the contact. The name must be unique.

    Contact Group

    You can select one or more contact groups.

    webhook

    • WeCom, Lark, and DingTalk are supported. You can configure multiple webhook URLs. Separate the URLs with commas (,).

    • If you use a DingTalk chatbot, you must add the keyword "SchedulerX" (case-sensitive). Otherwise, alert information cannot be received.

  5. Review the configurations and click Complete.

Create a notification contact group

Note

A notification contact group contains one or more notification contacts.

  1. Log on to the MSE SchedulerX console.

  2. In the top menu bar, select a region.

  3. In the navigation pane on the left, click Notification Manage.

  4. Click the contact group tab, and then click Create contact group. On the Create contact group page, enter the basic information for the notification contact group.

  5. Review the configurations and click Complete.

More operations

After you create a notification contact or a notification contact group, you can modify or delete it at any time.

  • Modify a notification contact or a notification contact group.

    On the Notification Manage page, click Edit in the Actions column for the notification contact or notification contact group that you want to modify.

  • Delete a notification contact or a notification contact group.

    On the Notification Manage page, click Delete in the Actions column for the notification contact or notification contact group that you want to delete. To delete multiple contacts in a batch, select the check boxes for the contacts and click Batch Delete in the lower-left corner.

    Important
    • If you delete a notification contact, the contact is automatically removed from the corresponding notification contact groups.

    • If you delete a notification contact group, the contacts in the group are not deleted.
