Last Updated:Jan 16, 2025

This topic describes the security features of Nacos instances. You can enable Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt transmitted data and configure access control policies to manage permissions.

TLS for data security

The Nacos engine supports TLS to ensure the security of transmitted data. For more information, see Enable TLS for MSE Nacos instances.

Permission management

You can manage access permissions for Nacos instances by configuring Nacos client authentication, fine-grained authentication in registries, and fine-grained authentication in configuration centers. For more information, see Nacos permission management.
