This topic describes the pricing and billing methods for Enterprise Edition instances of MSE Nacos and ZooKeeper.
Billable items
The total fee for an MSE Enterprise Edition instance includes instance fees and network fees.
Instance fees are billed based on the instance type and the number of nodes.
Network fees are the bandwidth fees incurred when you use Server Load Balancer (SLB) to access the instance over the Internet.
Billing methods
Enterprise Edition instances of MSE Nacos and ZooKeeper support the subscription billing method.
You are charged for instances that are running. Pausing or stopping an instance does not stop the billing. If you no longer need an instance, release the instance promptly to avoid unnecessary fees.
Billing method | Description | Scenarios |
Subscription | You pay for resources before you use them. Fees are settled on a monthly basis. | Suitable for scenarios with stable business and long-term requirements. |
Subscription
Billing cycle: Fees are settled monthly and deducted from your Alibaba Cloud account balance. An annual subscription is equivalent to 12 monthly payments. The actual time that the bill is generated may vary.
Formula: Total fee = Unit price of the DPI engine type(USD/month) × Subscription duration (months) × Number of nodes
Example:
Instance type: Small.Platinum.x2(Unit price in the China (Hangzhou) region: USD 98/month)
Number of nodes: 3
Subscription duration: 4 months
Total fee = 98 × 4 × 3 = USD 1,176
