This topic explains how to use HarmonyOS Application Security Hardening to quickly harden an application and obtain the hardened package.
Prerequisites
An unhardened HAP or App file that is 300 MB or smaller.
You have purchased the mobile security hardening service or are in the seven-day free trial period.
Procedure
Perform the following steps:
Log on to the mPaaS console and select the target application.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Security > Mobile Security Armor > Harmony application security reinforcement to open the Harmony application security reinforcement page.
Click Create Security Hardening to open the Upload applications to be hardened page.
Click Upload Application and upload the HAP or App file.
After the upload is successful, you are redirected to the Confirm security hardening information page. Confirm the application and hardening details.
(Optional) In the Select So files to protect section, select the So files that you want to protect.
Click Confirm Hardening.
Return to the Application Security Hardening page. A new card for the task is displayed. You can view the hardening progress on the card.
Reinforcing: The task is in progress.
Reinforced: The task is complete.
Failed: The task failed.
When the status on the card is Hardened, click Download to obtain the hardened package (the hardened HAP or App file).
The hardened package is not signed. You must re-sign the downloaded package before publishing it to the application marketplace.
What to do next
After hardening, verify that key components function correctly. If the application behaves abnormally after hardening, submit a ticket or join the DingTalk group for support (Group number: 145930007362).
