In this article, you will learn about how to view the domain IP address and egress IP address of an enterprise instance.

Applicable editions

Enterprise Dedicated

View instance IP addresses

  1. Log on to the console with an Alibaba Cloud account or as a RAM user with administration permissions. On the Instances page, click the Dedicated tab, and then click the name of your instance.

  2. In the Instance Information section, view the Domain IP/Egress IP.

  • Domain IP: the IP address used by external resources to access the current instance.

  • Egress IP: The IP address used by the current instance to access external resources. For example, the IP address can be used to access the user identity directory in your enterprise virtual private cloud (VPC).

An instance accessed over a VPC may have multiple IP addresses depending on the zones of the endpoint. You can view the IP addresses by performing subsequent steps.

View IP addresses of a VPC-connected instance

An instance connected to a VPC allows both inbound and outbound access. Inbound access, which requires a domain IP address, is enabled by default.

View the domain IP address

  1. Log on to the console with an Alibaba Cloud account or as a RAM user with administration permissions. On the Instances page, click the Dedicated tab, and then click the name of your instance.

  2. On the instance details page, click the Network Configuration tab to view the endpoint settings. Click the endpoint to go to the endpoint details page in the VPC console.

  3. Click the Zone and ENI tab to view the zones and their corresponding domain IP addresses.

View the egress IP addresses

If outbound access is enabled for the instance, a reverse endpoint will be created and the instance will have an egress IP address.

  1. Navigate to the Reverse Endpoint tab of the Endpoints page in the VPC console. Find the reverse endpoint corresponding to your enterprise VPC.
