    This topic lists the IDEs and operating systems compatible with the Lingma plugin.

    Note

    Lingma IDE now integrates context engineering with agents to understand your codebase and handle complex tasks. Future updates will focus on Lingma IDE and the JetBrains plugin, so VS Code plugin updates will be less frequent. If you experience issues with the VS Code plugin, switch to Lingma IDE.

    Lingma IDE

    • Built-in AI coding assistant with an out-of-the-box experience.

    • Operating systems: Windows 10/11 (x64/arm64), macOS 11.0 or later.

    JetBrains IDEs

    • IDE versions: 2020.3 and later versions of IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, GoLand, WebStorm, Android Studio, and HUAWEI DevEco Studio.

    • Operating systems: Windows 7 and later, macOS, and Linux.

    VS Code

    • IDE versions: 1.68.0 and later.

    • Operating systems: Windows 7 and later, macOS, and Linux.

    Visual Studio

    • IDE versions: Visual Studio 2022 17.3.0 and later, or Visual Studio 2019 16.3.0 and later.

    • Operating systems: Windows 10 and later.

    Other supported scenarios

    • Remote development with Secure Shell (SSH) and Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).

    • WebIDE for VS Code. Plugins are also available from the Open VSX marketplace.
