This topic describes how to configure multiple vSwitches for a Lindorm instance.
Background information
Lindorm Distributed Processing System (LDPS) uses the IP addresses provided by vSwitches to run tasks. If the IP addresses provided by vSwitches are insufficient for LDPS to run a task, the task may fail. You can configure multiple vSwitches for your Lindorm instances to obtain sufficient IP addresses. A Lindorm instance uses and releases IP addresses based on the actual requirements.
Procedure
- Log on to the Lindorm console.
- In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region in which the instance is located.
- On the Instances page, click the ID of the instance that you want to manage or click Manage in the Actions column corresponding to the instance.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Computing Engine.
- Click the O&M Management tab.
- Click Modify. In the Configure vSwitch dialog box, select the vSwitches that you want to configure. We recommend that you select vSwitches that can provide sufficient IP addresses. Note
- If you want to create a new vSwitch, make sure that the vSwitch is in the same zone as your Lindorm instance. For more information, see Create and manage a vSwitch.
- Only vSwitches that are in the same zone as the Lindorm instance are displayed in the Configure vSwitch dialog box.
- You can select up to five vSwitches for a Lindorm instance.
- Click OK.
