Expiration and overdue payment alerts and service suspension policy
This topic describes the policies for Hologres instances regarding expiration and overdue payments, including alert notifications and service suspension.
A Hologres instance is suspended if it expires or if your account has overdue payments. To restore the service, you must settle the outstanding balance or renew the instance.

Configure alert recipients
Alibaba Cloud sends alerts via SMS and email when your account has an overdue payment or a Hologres instance is about to expire. By default, these notifications are sent to the mobile number and email address associated with your Alibaba Cloud account. To have a RAM user receive these alerts, add them as a contact in the Message Center.

Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console, and in the top navigation bar, click .

On the Message Center page, in the left-side navigation pane, choose .

Find the Product Overdue Payment, Suspension, and Imminent Release Notifications message type and click Modify in the Contact column.

In the Modify Contact dialog box, add a contact. Select the checkbox for the new contact to add them as a recipient, and then click Save.
