Configure the notification methods of alerts for overdue payments

Alibaba Cloud sends an alert notification by text message or email when your Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue payment or when a Hologres instance expires. By default, the system sends the alert notification to the mobile phone number and email address that are bound to your Alibaba Cloud account. To send alert notifications to a RAM user, perform the following steps on the Message Center page within your Alibaba Cloud account.

  1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console by using your Alibaba Cloud account. Move the pointer over the message icon in the upper-right corner and click Message Settings.628

  2. In the left-side navigation pane of the Message Center page, click Common Settings. On the page that appears, select Product Overdue Payment, Suspension, and Imminent Release Notifications and click Modify in the Contact column.619

  3. In the Modify Contact dialog box, click Add Receiver, enter the required information to add a new account as a message receiver, select the added receiver, and then click Save.630
