Alibaba Cloud Global Accelerator (GA) offers time-limited one-month free trials.

Differences between a seven-day free trial and a one-month free trial

You can use each trial GA instance free of charge for seven days. The trial instance is automatically deleted after 14 days. If you want to retain a trial GA instance, purchase a GA instance and import the configurations of the trial GA instance to the GA instance that you purchased.

One month

If you do not renew the trial GA instances after the free trial expires, the instances are automatically released. If you want to retain a trial GA instance, you must renew the instance before the free trial expires.

Configuration method Simple

You only need to enter the business information. Then, the system automatically creates a trial GA instance. You can purchase a GA instance and import the configurations of the trial instance to the GA instance that you purchased.

Complicated

You must create trial GA instances by following the prompt in the console or referring to the GA documentation. You can deploy the trial GA instances in production environments.

  • GA instance: small Ⅰ and small Ⅱ
  • Basic bandwidth plan: 2 Mbit/s to 5 Mbit/s

Applicants

Make sure that the following requirements are met before you apply for a free trial:
  • An Alibaba Cloud account is created and enterprise real-name verification is completed for the account.
  • You are a first-time user of GA.
  • Your account does not have an overdue payment.
Note
  • First-time users are users who purchase GA for the first time. The accounts of these users do not have purchase records or usage records of the GA service. If a user has multiple Alibaba Cloud enterprise accounts and one of the accounts has a purchase record of the GA service, the user is not considered a first-time user.
  • Each user is limited to one free trial. If a user has multiple Alibaba Cloud enterprise accounts, the user can use only one account to apply for a free trial. Alibaba Cloud checks whether different Alibaba Cloud accounts belong to the same user based on the registration, logon, and account usage information. The information includes the identity number, phone number, payment account, device, and address.

Start time

Free trials are available from 00:00:00 on April 1, 2021 to 00:00:00 on April 1, 2023. Each user can apply for a free trial of at most one month each time.

A free trial starts from the date when the GA service is activated for an account. If you do not renew the resources after the free trial expires, the resources are automatically released. If you want to continue using the resources, you must renew the resources before the free trial expires. For more information, see Renewal.

Limits

If you violate the following terms, a free trial becomes unavailable. Alibaba Cloud reserves the rights to adjust and terminate a free trial.

  • You must not transfer your membership for a free trial to other users.
  • You must not use a free-trial instance for illegal activities. You bear all responsibility and consequences for your activities.
  • If you use a free-trial instance for illegal activities, Alibaba Cloud reserves the rights to shut down your business and shall not assume responsibility arising therefrom.
Notice No service-level agreement (SLA) guarantees are provided during free trials. We recommend that you do not use a free-trial instance to deploy business-critical services.
