Subscription instances are prepaid — you pay first and then use the service. The billing cycle matches the order purchase period (UTC+8), starting at the purchase or renewal time (to the second) and ending at 24:00:00 on the expiration date.
Standard instances are charged an instance fee, specification fee, and bandwidth fee; basic instances are charged only an instance fee and bandwidth fee.
Subscription uses bandwidth-based billing and does not generate traffic-based usage records, so the console does not display traffic consumption statistics.
You cannot convert between subscription and pay-as-you-go after creating an instance.
All unit prices in this document are catalog prices for reference only. Actual prices are shown on the console purchase page or in your bill.
Bills are typically issued on the 1st of the month following the end of the billing cycle. Exact timing depends on the system.

Instance fee
The instance fee covers instance occupancy and is charged based on the unit price and purchase duration. Both standard and basic GA instances are charged an instance fee.

Specification fee
Subscription standard instances require a specification tier. Each tier provides a different number of acceleration regions, maximum bandwidth capacity, and maximum concurrent connections, so the fee varies. Only subscription standard instances are charged a specification fee.

Bandwidth fee
Subscription instances must purchase and bind a basic bandwidth plan to settle bandwidth charges. If your workloads involve acceleration between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), Taiwan (China), or other countries and regions, you also need a cross-border acceleration bandwidth plan stacked with the basic bandwidth plan.
Basic bandwidth plan
A basic bandwidth plan provides global public-network access bandwidth and Alibaba Cloud internal-network transmission bandwidth (excluding dedicated cross-border bandwidth between the Chinese mainland and overseas). Billing is based on the specified peak bandwidth and bandwidth type.

Purchase and bind a basic bandwidth plan
After purchasing a basic bandwidth plan, you must bind it to a subscription instance before you can add acceleration regions and allocate bandwidth.
Each instance supports one basic bandwidth plan.
Console
Go to GA console - Bandwidth Plans and click Purchase Basic Bandwidth Plan. Configure Bandwidth Type、Bandwidth Limit、Subscription Duration.
After purchase, click Bind Instance in the Actions column of the target bandwidth plan and select an instance. Once bound, the status shows Available.
(Optional) After binding, you can Replace or UnBind the bandwidth plan:
When replacing, the new bandwidth plan must have bandwidth greater than or equal to the total already allocated across acceleration regions. Replacing does not interrupt traffic forwarding.
Before unbinding, the GA instance must not have any acceleration regions or listeners configured.

Cross-border acceleration bandwidth plan
To use a cross-border acceleration bandwidth plan, ensure that the current account has completed enterprise real-name verification.
Before using a cross-border acceleration bandwidth plan, ensure the accelerated application domain has completed ICP filing.

Purchase and bind a cross-border acceleration bandwidth plan
Can only be bound to an instance that already has a basic bandwidth plan bound.
The cross-border bandwidth plan's bandwidth must be greater than or equal to the bound basic bandwidth plan's bandwidth.
Console
Go to GA console - Bandwidth Plans and click Purchase Cross-border Acceleration Bandwidth Plan. Configure Interconnection Area A and Interconnection Area B to specify interconnection regions (currently only Chinese mainland to global is supported).
After purchase, click Bind Instance in the Actions column and select an instance. Once bound, the status shows Available.
(Optional) After binding, you can Replace or UnBind the bandwidth plan:
When replacing, the new cross-border bandwidth plan must have bandwidth greater than or equal to the bound basic bandwidth plan. Replacing does not interrupt traffic forwarding.
Before unbinding, verify the GA instance meets the following conditions:
If the basic bandwidth plan uses standard or enhanced acceleration, ensure acceleration regions and endpoint group regions only include Chinese mainland regions.
If the basic bandwidth plan uses premium acceleration, ensure acceleration regions and endpoint group regions do not include Chinese mainland regions.
If conditions are not met, delete acceleration regions and listeners before unbinding.

Suppose you purchase one standard Small I instance and one basic instance, each bound to a basic bandwidth plan with 2 Mbps standard acceleration bandwidth, for one month. The monthly GA charges are:

Configuration changes
Effective time: Changes typically take effect immediately after submission, though network conditions may cause brief delays.
Billing impact:
Upgrades require paying the price difference for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
Real-time downgrades may generate a refund. The refund equals the difference between the new configuration cost for the remaining period and the original remaining value. The actual amount is affected by purchase-time discounts and vouchers — refer to the order page.
Standard instance specification changes
Instance specifications support upgrades only by default. Downgrades are not available — apply for the console downgrade entitlement quota in the Quota Center to enable them.
Go to GA console - Instance Management, click or Downgrade in the Actions column of the target instance.
Upgrades may add new endpoint public IPs (the number depends on the specification — refer to the console). New public IPs must be confirmed before becoming active. Check the instance Status column; if new endpoint public IPs appear, manually Confirm them or call UpdateAcceleratorConfirm.
Downgrades may reduce the number of endpoint public IPs.
Basic bandwidth plan changes
Basic bandwidth plans support upgrades only by default. Apply for the console downgrade entitlement quota in the Quota Center to enable downgrades.
Change scope: Peak bandwidth and bandwidth type.
When downgrading, the total bandwidth allocated to all acceleration regions must not exceed the new peak.
The post-change peak must not exceed the instance's maximum processing bandwidth.
Bandwidth type changes only support: standard acceleration to enhanced acceleration (upgrade), or enhanced acceleration to standard acceleration (downgrade).
Entry point: Go to GA console - Bandwidth Plans, click Change Specification or Downgrade in the Actions column. You can adjust the Bandwidth Limit and Bandwidth Type.
Cross-border bandwidth plan changes
Cross-border acceleration bandwidth plans support upgrades only (increasing the bandwidth value).
Constraints:
When using both a basic and a cross-border bandwidth plan, the basic bandwidth plan's bandwidth must be less than or equal to the cross-border plan's bandwidth. Recommended upgrade order: upgrade the cross-border plan first, then the basic plan, then allocate acceleration region bandwidth.
The post-upgrade cross-border peak must not exceed the instance's maximum processing bandwidth.
Entry point: Go to GA console - Bandwidth Plans, click Change Specification in the Bandwidth column of the target plan.
Renewal
Subscription GA instances and bandwidth plans affect your business when they expire. Renew before expiration to continue using the service.

Standard instance: Go to GA console - Instance Management, click
> Instance Management > Renew in the Actions column. Select the renewal duration, accept the service agreement, and click Buy Now to complete payment.Basic instance: Go to GA console - Basic Instances, click Renew in the Actions column. Bandwidth plan: Go to GA console - Bandwidth Plans, click Renew in the Actions column. Select the renewal duration, accept the service agreement, and click Buy Now to complete payment.

Unsubscription
GA instances and basic bandwidth plans both support non-full refund unsubscription.
Prerequisites: After unsubscription, the instance is released and the configuration cannot be recovered. Complete data migration before unsubscribing.
GA instance: Must not have a bound bandwidth plan, and must not have deployed acceleration regions, listeners, or endpoint groups.
Basic bandwidth plan: Must not be bound to a GA instance.
Supported types: Non-full refund (not five-day no-reason) and cancellation of renewal orders that have not yet taken effect. Confirm you understand the refund rules before applying.
