Resource plans allow you to use resources at more favorable prices. This helps you reduce costs. This topic describes the types and unit prices of resource plans in Function Compute and how to manage resource plans, including how to purchase and view resource plans, and configure quota usage alerts.
Types and prices
Function Compute resource plans are classified into different types. Each type of resource plan can be used to offset the fees of different billable items of Function Compute. For more information about the billable items, see Billing overview.
After you purchase a resource plan, you can obtain a service identification number for ICP filing. For more information, see Prepare and check the instance and access information.

The prices on the buy page shall prevail.
Validity period
The validity period of each type of resource plan is 12 months. A resource plan takes effect from the date when the order is placed and expires at the end of the validity period. After the resource plan expires, the resource quota in the resource plan becomes invalid.
You are charged for resource usage on the pay-as-you-go basis after a resource plan expires or the quota is used up. For more information, see Pay-as-you-go.
Offset order
Resource plans and trial quota are first used to offset fees. If you have purchased multiple resource plans, the resource plan that expire first are preferentially used. After all the trial quota and resource plans are exhausted, the pay-as-you-go billing method is used. For more information, see Pay-as-you-go.
Buy resource plans
Log on to the Function Compute console. In the Resource Plan section on the right side of the Overview page, click Buy Now. On the page that appears, select the resource plan type and specifications.
Refund policy
You can request a full refund after you purchase a resource plan if the resource plan is not used within five days. If the resource plan is used, fees of resource usage are deducted based on the unit prices of Pay-as-you-go billing method before the balance is refunded to you. You can request only one five-day full refund in each natural year. You cannot request a refund if the resource plan is purchased for more than 5 days.
Manage resource plans
After you purchase a resource plan, you can view the purchasing records in User Center. In addition, you can enable quota alerting for resource plans to avoid resource unavailability caused by overdue payments. When the remaining quota of a resource plan is lower than the configured threshold, the system notifies you by text messages.
- Log on to the Function Compute console.
In the top navigation bar, choose
.In the left-side navigation pane, click Manage Reserved Instances.
On the Manage Reserved Instances page, select Resource Packages for Resource Type. Perform the following steps:
Click the Instances tab to view the purchase records and statistics of resource plans, including the status of resource plans, remaining capacity, effective time, and expiration time.
If you want to view only the remaining capacity of a resource plan, log on to the Function Compute console and view the remaining capacity on the right side of the Overview page.
Click Set Threshold Alert in the upper right corner to configure the thresholds for the resource plans and click OK.
After you turn on Set Quota Alert, quota alerts for all resource plans are enabled. You can configure different quota alert rules for different resource plans in the following list.
