When you use the online migration tool to migrate data from a self-managed Elasticsearch cluster to an Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch cluster, you need to set IP Address of ECS Instance for Self-managed Elasticsearch Cluster to the private IP address of any node in the self-managed Elasticsearch cluster. In addition, a new security group rule needs to be configured for the node. You need to add the CIDR block of the Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch cluster to the whitelist of the node, enable access over ports 9200 and 9300, and select the TCP protocol type.
