Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) maintains its own contact directory, separate from Resource Access Management (RAM). Contact information entered during RAM user creation is unavailable in EDAS. To designate a RAM user as an alert recipient, the RAM user must set their contact information directly in the EDAS console.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
A RAM user account with permissions to access the EDAS console
Procedure
Log on to the EDAS console as the RAM user.
Navigate to the page.
Configure the following contact fields.
Field Description Name The contact name for alert notifications. Phone number The phone number for receiving alert notifications. Email address The email address for receiving alert notifications. Click Save.
After you save the contact information, the RAM user can be selected as an alert recipient when you configure alerts in EDAS.
