EMR AI Assistant (also known as EMR Agent) lets you query resource information, diagnose component issues, troubleshoot Operations and Maintenance (O&M) failures, and start operations — all through natural language conversation. It is available for E-MapReduce (EMR) Serverless StarRocks and EMR on ECS.
As of January 9, 2026, EMR AI Assistant supports EMR Serverless StarRocks in addition to EMR on ECS. The assistant is currently in public preview, and its capabilities are continuously being expanded.

China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), China (Qingdao), China (Beijing), China (Ulanqab), and China (Shenzhen).

EMR AI Assistant provides three feature modules. The table below shows what each module does, when to use it, and example prompts to get started.

Also analyzes top SQL queries, SQL type aggregation, and daily/weekly execution trends. | "The CPU usage spiked around 10:00.
