After you add, modify, or delete configuration items for a service in an E-MapReduce (EMR) cluster, you can roll back the changes to restore previous settings. This topic describes how to roll back service configurations in the EMR console.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:

An EMR cluster with at least one service whose configuration items have been modified
Roll back a configuration item

Go to the Services tab.

Log on to the EMR console.

In the top navigation bar, select the region where your cluster resides and select a resource group.

On the EMR on ECS page, find the cluster and click Services in the Actions column.

Click Configure for the service whose configuration you want to roll back. The following steps use the HDFS service as an example.

On the Configure tab, click Configuration Modification History. The dialog box lists all changes made to the service configurations.

In the Configuration Modification History dialog box, find the configuration item to roll back and click Roll Back in the Actions column.

In the Roll Back message, click OK.
