    E-MapReduce:Restart a service

    After modifying cluster configurations, restart the affected components for the changes to take effect.

    Prerequisites

    Before you begin, ensure that you have:

    • A cluster created on the EMR on ACK page of the Alibaba Cloud E-MapReduce (EMR) console. For more information, see Getting started

    Restart a component

    1. Go to the Service Details tab of the cluster.

      1. Log on to the EMR on ACK console.

      2. On the EMR on ACK page, find the cluster whose components you want to restart and click Configure in the Actions column.

      3. Click Service Details.

    2. On the Service Details tab, find the component you want to restart and click Restart in the Actions column.

    3. In the dialog box, configure the Execution Reason parameter and click OK.

    4. In the Confirm dialog box, click OK.
