    E-MapReduce:Restart a service

    This topic describes how to restart a service to apply configuration changes.

    Prerequisites

    You have created an EMR on ACK cluster. For more information, see Quick start.

    Procedure

    1. Go to the service details page.

      1. Log in to EMR on ACK.

      2. On the EMR on ACK page, find the target cluster and click Configure in the Actions column.

      3. Click the Service Details tab.

    2. On the Service Details page, find the desired component and click Restart in the Actions column.

    3. In the dialog box that appears, enter a reason in the Execution Reason field and click OK.

    4. In the Confirm dialog box, click OK.
