E-MapReduce (EMR) on Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) became generally available for commercial use on April 1, 2024. EMR on ACK lets you deploy open-source big data services on top of ACK, reducing O&M costs for underlying cluster resources so you can focus on big data jobs.
Billing standards
Billing is calculated per hour based on the total vCPU and memory allocated to the pods in your EMR on ACK cluster (unit price x quantity per hour).

Promotional discount
A 50% discount is available for qualifying existing users during the transition period.
