The Elasticsearch Clusters page of the Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch console displays the basic information of Elasticsearch clusters. This page also allows you to create clusters, configure alerting, add tags to clusters, update cluster statuses, export a cluster list, customize a cluster list, and manage clusters.
Log on to the Elasticsearch console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Elasticsearch Clusters to go to the Elasticsearch Clusters page. The Elasticsearch Clusters page displays all the Elasticsearch clusters that are within your Alibaba Cloud account
and created in the current region. This page also allows you to perform the following
operations.

Create a cluster | You can click Create to go to the buy page of Elasticsearch and create an Elasticsearch cluster. For more information, see Create an Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch cluster. |
Enable or disable alerting | You can click Alarms to enable the alerting feature for Elasticsearch in the CloudMonitor console. By default, this feature is disabled. After you enable this feature, CloudMonitor creates alert rules to detect exceptions such as abnormal cluster status, high disk usage (> 75%), and high JVM heap memory usage (> 85%). These rules are applied to all Elasticsearch clusters within your Alibaba Cloud account. For more information, see Configure cluster alerting. |
Add tags to clusters | If you have a large number of Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch clusters, you can add tags to them for easy management. Each tag consists of a key and a value. You can use tag keys and values to further classify clusters. For more information, see Manage cluster tags. |
Update cluster statuses | You can click the Refresh icon in the upper-right corner to update the statuses of Elasticsearch clusters. After an Elasticsearch cluster is created, it is in the Initializing state. You can click the Refresh icon to update the status of the cluster. After the value of Status for the cluster changes to Active, you can use the cluster. |
Export the cluster list | The export feature allows you to customize a cluster list and export it. Click the

View the cluster list | You can choose the columns that you want to display in the cluster list. The cluster list includes the following columns: Cluster ID/Name, Tag, Status, Version, Cluster Type, Data Nodes, Specifications, Zone, Billing Method, and Created At. |
View the basic information of a cluster | You can click the ID of a cluster in the Cluster ID/Name column. On the Basic Information page, view the basic information of the cluster. For more information, see View the basic information of a cluster. |
Manage clusters | You can find the desired cluster and click Manage in the Actions column. On the page that appears, you can perform operations such as upgrading or downgrading the configuration of the cluster, viewing logs, configuring security settings, and configuring plug-ins. |
Switch the billing method from pay-as-you-go to subscription | This feature is suitable only for pay-as-you-go clusters. You can find the desired cluster and choose Actions column. On the Switch to Subscription page, change the billing method of the cluster. For more information, see Subscription. | in the
Update the configuration of a cluster | You can find the desired cluster and choose Actions column to update the configuration of the cluster on the Upgrade/Downgrade page. For more information, see Upgrade the configuration of a cluster or Downgrade the configuration of a cluster. | or in the
Release a cluster | This feature is suitable only for pay-as-you-go clusters. You can find the desired
cluster and choose Actions column. In the Release message, click OK.
Warning After a cluster is released, data stored in the cluster cannot be recovered. We recommend
that you back up data before you release a cluster. For more information, see Create manual snapshots and restore data from manual snapshots.
