This topic describes the inbound and outbound bandwidths of servers. The following table lists the inbound and outbound bandwidths.

The inbound bandwidth is used to download external network resources from ECS or upload resources to ECS by using an FTP client.

Outbound bandwidth is used to provide access from ECS or download internal resources of ECS through an FTP client. The outbound bandwidth of an ECS instance is the purchased bandwidth.
