Elastic Compute Service:Delete an SSH key pair

If you no longer need an SSH key pair that is not bound to an Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance, you can delete the SSH key pair to ensure resource security. This topic describes how to delete an SSH key pair that is not bound to an ECS instance.

Prerequisites

The SSH key pair that you want to delete is not bound to an ECS instance. For information about how to unbind an SSH key pair from an ECS instance, see Unbind an SSH key pair.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ECS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Network & Security > Key Pairs.

  3. In the top navigation bar, select the region and resource group to which the resource belongs. 地域

  4. Find the SSH key pair that you want to delete and click Delete in the Actions column.

    Note

    You can also select multiple SSH key pairs and click Delete below the list.

  5. In the Delete SSH Key Pair message, confirm the SSH key pair information.

  6. After you verify that the SSH key pair information is correct, click OK.
