    Dynamic Content Delivery Network (DCDN) boasts over 3,200 points of presence (POPs) worldwide, spanning over more than 70 countries and regions. The total bandwidth capacity of DCDN can reach up to 180 Tbit/s.

    High-performance POP distribution

    Each POP in the Alibaba Cloud DCDN network offers 40 TB to 1.5 PB of storage capacity and a bandwidth load of 40 Gbps to 200 Gbps. The network has a total bandwidth capacity of 180 Tbps.

    This distributed network of high-performance POPs improves data transfer efficiency and ensures robust service during traffic surges.

    Major POP distribution

    Alibaba Cloud DCDN have over 3,200 POPs worldwide, with a total network bandwidth capacity of 180 Tbps.

    • Chinese mainland: Over 2,300 POPs that cover 31 provincial-level regions and are concentrated in provincial capitals and other major cities.

    • Regions outside the Chinese mainland: Over 900 POPs that cover more than 70 countries and regions, including Hong Kong (China) and Macao (China).

    Each DCDN POP provides a storage capacity of 40 TB to 1.5 PB and a bandwidth of 40 Gbps to 200 Gbps. The network has a total reserved bandwidth of 180 Tbps. The following table shows the major POP distribution.

    Note

    Major POPs provide service to their applicable regions. The intelligent mapping system of DCDN dynamically selects the most suitable POP for acceleration based on the user's geographical location and network environment.

    For example, although Vietnam is not listed in the major POP location, it is within the service area of the Asia Pacific 2 region. Users in Vietnam can enjoy a low-latency, high-availability content delivery experience for website access, video playback, and file downloads.
