Modify the attributes of an image

1. Go to ECS console - Images.

2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region and resource group.

3. On the Custom Images tab, find the image that you want to manage. In the Actions column, choose > Modify Attributes.

4. In the Modify Attributes dialog box, configure Image Name, Image Family, NVMe Driver, Boot Mode, and Image Description as needed.

   • Image Name: Enter a new name.

   • Image Family: Specify an image family. See Overview.

   • NVMe Driver: Set NVMe Driver to Yes to mark the image as NVMe-capable. Instances created from this image that support NVMe can then start as expected.

   • Boot Mode: The mode used to boot the system disk during instance creation. See Instance boot mode.

   • Image Description: Modify the description.

5. Click OK.

Modify the tags of an image

Tags identify resources with similar characteristics, such as images that belong to the same organization or serve the same purpose. See Tags.

1. Go to ECS console - Images.

2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region and resource group.

3. On the Custom Images tab, find the image that you want to manage. In the Tag column, move the pointer over the icon.

   • If no tags exist on the image, click Add Tag.

   • If tags already exist, click Edit to modify them.

   • To add tags to multiple images at once, select the images and click Bind Tags at the bottom of the tab.

   • To remove tags from multiple images at once, select the images and click Unbind Tags at the bottom of the tab.

4. In the dialog box, complete the settings as prompted.

   Note

   You can also click the ID of a custom image, click next to the tags in the Basic Information section, and modify the tags.
