Data Transmission Service (DTS) allows you to add objects to or remove objects from the list of objects for change tracking during data consumption. This topic describes how to change the objects for change tracking.
Prerequisites
A change tracking instance is created and its Status is Normal. For information about how to create a change tracking instance, see Overview of change tracking scenarios.
Usage notes
Before you add an object for change tracking, make sure that the database account used in the change tracking task has relevant permissions on the object.
If you add an object to the list of objects for change tracking, the change tracking task obtains the incremental data of the object from the point in time when the object is added.
If the change tracking client continues to track the changes of an object that is removed from the list of objects for change tracking, you must filter the tracked data changes on the client.
