If your Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue payment, the use of Cloud Firewall is affected. We recommend that you check whether your account has an overdue payment in the User Center console and top up your account in a timely manner. This topic describes overdue payments and how to view the overdue amounts.

Overdue payments

Subscription expiration status Description References
Seven days before the expiration date Alibaba Cloud sends you renewal notifications by text message, email, or internal message. If you do not renew your subscription before it expires, your assets are no longer protected by Cloud Firewall after the expiration date. Renew your subscription
Seven days after the expiration date Alibaba Cloud retains your configurations and data in Cloud Firewall. The configurations and data include access control policies and intrusion prevention settings. If you renew your subscription within the seven days, you can continue to use your configurations and data. Renew your subscription
More than seven days after the expiration date and the subscription is not renewed Alibaba Cloud deletes all your configurations and data in Cloud Firewall. If this happens and you want to continue using Cloud Firewall, you must subscribe to Cloud Firewall again.

After you subscribe to Cloud Firewall, you must configure access control policies and other features based on your business requirements.

More than seven days after the expiration date, the subscription is not renewed, and resources require to be released in advance After the subscription expires, you do not want to continue using Cloud Firewall and you want to release the resources in Cloud Firewall in advance. You can click Release in the upper-right corner of the Overview page to release the resources in advance.
