This topic describes how to change the accelerated region for a domain name that is accelerated by Alibaba Cloud Dynamic Route for CDN (DCDN).

Procedure

  1. Log on to the DCDN console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Domain Names.
  3. On the Domain Names page, find the domain name that you want to manage, and click Configure in the Actions column.
  4. On the Basic Settings tab, find the Basic Information section.
  5. In the Basic Information section, click Modify next to Acceleration Region.
  6. In the Acceleration Region dialog box, select the region to which you want to switch.

    Parameter Description
    Mainland China Only If you select Mainland China Only, all requests are scheduled to edge nodes that are deployed in mainland China. Requests from outside mainland China are scheduled to edge nodes that are managed by China Telecom (East China Division). The accelerated domain name must have a valid Internet Content Provider (ICP) number. For more information, see ICP filing for domain names.
    Global If you select Global, all requests are scheduled to the nearest edge nodes. The accelerated domain name must have a valid ICP number. For more information, see ICP filing for domain names.
    Global (Excluding Mainland China) If you select Global (Excluding Mainland China), all requests are scheduled to edge nodes that are deployed in Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), Taiwan (China), or other regions or countries outside mainland China. Requests from mainland China are scheduled to edge nodes that are deployed in Japan, Singapore, or Hong Kong (China). The accelerated domain name is not required to have an ICP number.
  7. Click OK.
