The real-time log delivery feature allows you to collect logs of one or more accelerated domain names in a specified region in real time and deliver the collected logs to Log Service for analysis. This helps you monitor and identify service issues. This topic describes how to enable or disable real-time log delivery.

Prerequisites

Log Service is activated.

Limits

  • You cannot bind a domain name to two log delivery projects in which all data is collected from Chinese mainland.
  • You cannot bind a domain name to log delivery projects in which data is collected from the Chinese mainland and outside the Chinese mainland at the same time. However, you can bind a domain name to multiple log delivery projects in which all data is collected from outside the Chinese mainland at the same time. For example, you cannot bind the domain name example.com to log delivery projects in which data is collected from US and Mainland China at the same time, but you can bind example.com to log delivery projects in which data is collected from US and India at the same time.

The project name is used to identify the delivery project and must be unique.

The project name can be up to 24 characters in length, and can contain letters, digits, and underscores (_).

Log Field Select log fields that you want to include in each real-time log. For more information, see Fields in a real-time log.
Sampling Rate Specify the percentage of log entries that you want to deliver to Log Service. Valid values: 0 to 100%.

    2. Click Next. Select the region from which real-time logs are collected and the region of Log Service to which real-time logs are delivered. The region of Log Service is the region in which logs are stored.
      Notice
      • After you create a delivery project, you cannot change the regions from which logs are collected and to which logs are delivered. You can delete a delivery project that you no longer use. You can also create a new delivery project.
      • The first time you create a delivery project, you must grant DCDN the permissions to access Log Service to ensure that logs can be delivered to Log Service.
      Country or region
After logs are collected, the collected logs can be delivered only to the region of Log Service that you specify for storage. The following table describes the mapping between regions from which logs are collected and to which logs are delivered.
