Deletes a backup client.

Description

  • You cannot delete an active backup client from which a heartbeat packet is received within the previous hour. After you call the UninstallBackupClients operation to uninstall a backup client, the status of the backup client changes to inactive.
  • This operation deletes the resources that are related to the backup client. The following resources are included:
    • Backup plans
    • Backup jobs
    • Backup files

The ID of the backup client.

The message that is returned. If the request is successful, a value of successful is returned. If the request fails, an error message is returned.

Success Boolean true

Indicates whether the request is successful. Valid values:

  • true: indicates that the request is successful.
  • false: indicates that the request fails.
