Application Load Balancer (ALB) provides subscription ALB service plans. You can use ALB service plans to offset capacity unit (CU) fees and instance fees of ALB based on offset ratios. Compared with the pay-as-you-go billing method, ALB service plans provide higher discounts and are suitable for enterprises that have a fixed budget. You can specify when an ALB service plan takes effect based on your business requirements.

Features

  • Ready-to-use without further configurations

When you purchase a service plan, you can specify when the service plan takes effect. After a service plan takes effect, Alibaba Cloud automatically uses the service plan to offset your CU fees and instance fees. You do not need to configure the service plan.

  • Multiple sizes for different business requirements

ALB service plans provide 1,000 to 100,000 CUs to meet business requirements of small-sized and medium-sized enterprises. You can purchase multiple ALB service plans.

  • Cost-effective

ALB service plans offer lower prices than the pay-as-you-go billing method. The larger the size of a service plan, the lower the unit price. You can use ALB service plans with ALB instances to reduce network costs.
