Data Management (DMS) supports features such as data management, user authorization, security audit, lock-free changes, data tracking, and data visualization. This topic describes how to log on to an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance by using DMS.

The operations that are described in the following topics are complete:
Procedure
- Go to the Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the RDS instance resides. Then, find the RDS instance and click the ID of the instance.
On the page that appears, click Log On to Database.
In the dialog box that appears, enter the username and password of the account that is used to log on to the RDS instance. Then, click Login.
NoteTo obtain the username and password of an authorized account, you can perform the following operations:
- Go to the Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the RDS instance resides. Then, find the RDS instance and click the ID of the instance.
In the left-side navigation pane of the page that appears, click Accounts.
If you forget your password, click Reset Password to reset the password.
In the left-side navigation pane, double-click the database name to switch to the database.
NoteThe information_schema database and the mysql database are system databases.
If the RDS instance exists but you cannot find the required database, the metadata may not be synchronized. Move the pointer over the RDS instance to which the required database belongs and click the refresh icon next to the instance name. Then, you can find the required database.
