After you attach network instances to a Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) instance and complete the configurations for connection, you can ping IP addresses to test the connectivity.

Before you test the connectivity, make sure that the following requirements are met:
  • To test the connectivity between network instances in different regions, make sure that the bandwidth for cross-region communication is set. For more information, see Step 4: Set the bandwidth for cross-region communication.
  • Rules in the security groups allow the network instances to communicate with each other. Otherwise, add rules to the security groups to allow communications. For more information, see Add security group rules.

Background information

Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances in China (Hangzhou) and China (Shanghai) are used in this example to test the connectivity.
Parameter ECS 1 ECS 2
Private IP address 192.xx.1.41 192.xx.136.60
Region China (Shanghai) China (Hangzhou)

  1. Log on to ECS 2
  2. Run the ping command to ping the IP address of ECS 1 to test the connectivity.
