Alibaba Cloud DNS:HTTPDNS resolution log

If you have integrated HTTPDNS through SDK integration, DoT/DoH, and JSON API, you can view domain name resolution information through resolution logs.

How to use

  1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud DNS-Logs page.

  2. On the Logs page, select HTTPDNS under the Query Logs tab.image

Table header parameters

Responded At: The time when the domain name query was answered.

Resolution Delay: The overall delay from when HTTPDNS receives the domain name query request to when it returns the query result.

Source IP Address: The IP address that initiates the domain name query request, typically the terminal IP address.

IP Address Carried in ECS: Refers to the client request carrying the edns-client-subnet (ECS) field, which places the client source IP in the ECS protocol extension so that the authoritative DNS makes more precise scheduling.

Query Zone Name: The target domain name queried in this DNS request.

Query Record Types: Resolution types such as A, AAAA, CNAME, TXT, MX, etc.

Access Protocol: The protocol used for the domain name query request, commonly DoT, DoH, HTTP, and HTTPS.

Resolution Result: The resolution result returned for this domain name query request.

Response Status: Generally includes the following statuses:

Description

NOERROR

Successful response, indicating successful resolution.

NXDOMAIN (Non-Existent Domain)

The queried domain name does not exist.

SERVFAIL (Server Failure)

The query cannot be processed because of problems with the target DNS server.

REFUSED

The DNS server refuses to perform the specified operation due to policy reasons. For example, the current account has an overdue payment, AK/SK errors, etc.

DNS Server IP Address: The IP address of the DNS server that responded to this DNS query request.

Conditional query

Time conditional query

  • Supports quick time queries in Last 1 Hour, Last 12 Hours, Today, Yesterday, 7 Days, 15 Days, 30 Days, and any time period within a maximum of 90 days.

Keyword query

Query by keyword, such as Query Zone Name, Source IP Address, Resolution Result, DNS Server IP Address, and Record Type.
