After you add a built-in authoritative zone, we recommend that you set Domain Name System (DNS) records for the zone, and then set an effective scope for the zone. Within the effective scope of the zone, the intranet DNS records of the zone override its Internet DNS records. Private DNS allows you to add DNS records in two modes: form editor mode and visual editor mode.
