After you submit a lock-free schema change task, you can view its progress in Task Management of Data Management Service (DMS).
Procedure
Log in to DMS 5.0.

In the top navigation bar, choose .
NoteIf you use the DMS console in simple mode, move the pointer over the
icon in the upper-left corner of the DMS console and choose . -
Click the target task ID.

In the Execution Details dialog box, click Progress in the Operation column.
NoteIf the Progress button is missing from the Operation column, the task did not run as a lock-free schema change.

In the Lock-Free Schema Change dialog box, view the task details, progress, and execution parameters.
Users with the administrator or DBA role can also modify the execution parameters for the lock-free schema change on this page. To modify the default values of the execution parameters, see Configure SQL execution control. The Task Details section displays the execution status (such as Succeeded), DMS replay latency, and a status description. The Task Progress section shows the estimated progress, total rows (estimated), copied rows (accurate), and replayed rows (accurate). The Execution Parameters section includes editable parameters such as Lock wait timeout when switching tables, Retry attempts when table switching fails, Full data copy policy and chunk size, Cleanup policy for original tables after table switching, Time window for switching tables, and Data validation ratio for incremental replay.
