Data Management:View a backup schedule

Last Updated:Feb 25, 2025

After you configure a backup task, Data Disaster Recovery schedules the task in the background to generate a full or incremental backup set. This topic describes how to view the configuration and backup information of a backup schedule.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the DMS console V5.0.

  2. In the top navigation bar, choose Security and Specifications (DBS) > Disaster Recovery for Data (DBS) > Backup Plan.

    Note

If you use the DMS console in simple mode, move the pointer over the 2023-01-28_15-57-17.png icon in the upper-left corner of the DMS console and choose All Features > Security and Specifications (DBS) > Disaster Recovery for Data (DBS) > Backup Plan.

  3. Find the backup schedule that you want to view and click Manage in the Actions column. The Configure Task page appears.

  4. On the Configure Task page, you can view the following information about the backup schedule.

    Configuration information

The configuration information of the backup schedule. The information includes the backup source, backup objects, backup time, incremental log backup, and lifecycle information that you configured when you created the backup schedule. If backups are performed based on the backup schedule, the configuration information also includes the billing information and backup set download information.

On the Configure Task page, you can view or modify the following configuration information:

    Full data backup

The information about backup sets that are generated after full data backups are performed.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Backup Tasks > Full Data. On the page that appears, you can view the information about full backup sets, including the ID, expiration time, and size of a backup set.

    Incremental data backup

The information about incremental backup sets. This information is displayed if the incremental data backup feature is enabled.

    Note

Each incremental backup set contains only the incremental data that was backed up during this incremental backup.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Backup Tasks > Incremental Data. On the page that appears, you can view the information about incremental backup sets, including the ID, expiration time, and size of a backup set.
